About Me

"I taught myself to embroider when I was 8 years old and I have been hand sewing ever since. I have done every part of creating lampshades, from welding the wire frames to hand stringing the beaded fringes. With all these things in mind, I wanted to share this beautiful art so I decided to teach my process on film. I made a series of How-To DVDs in 1992 and I have taught people all around the world with these easy to follow instructional videos." - Mary
